Carrying on the family tradition of farming - but heading in another direction. Our family has always farmed; its what we do. Typical to Illinois farming - field corn and soybeans were the norm. The produce part of what we do started in 2017. In addition to produce we have honey bees on the farm. We are super excited about this. We’ll have some of the normal vegetables you expect to find, but will also have some fun/new twists on vegetables. If there is something you’re looking for let us know. We may have it growing. And then... there is Addie. Addie was our Great-Grandmother. She raised the “original” Thompson who owns our farm. Addie was an amazing woman with a gentle spirit. She always raised her own food and we’ve named our pepper line after her. Addie’s will have some of th best pepper products you’ve ever had. Our taste-testers can verify this. If you like heat with great flavor combinations, you will enjoy our jellies and sauces. We hope to see you at the local Farmer’s Markets.. |
